PURPOSE: A pre-heater for a vehicle is provided to improve cooling efficiency by increasing the area of an exposed cooling unit which is directly contact with wind. CONSTITUTION: A pre-heater for a vehicle comprises an upper housing(110), a lower housing(120), a heating unit(140), a control unit(130), and a cooling unit(150). The heating unit is installed between the upper and lower housings. The control unit is located at one end of the upper and lower housings and controls the heating unit. The cooling unit cools the control unit and is composed of a heat sink. The heat sink is adhered to one side of the control unit. An exposed cooling unit(152) is formed in one end of the heat sink and is exposed to the outside the upper housing or the lower housing.
