BIAXIALLY ORIENTED POLYESTER FILM AND RELEASE FILM USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A biaxially oriented polyester film for a release film is provided to ensure high birefringence ratio and excellent orientation angle due to the reduction of bowing by elongation, and to control light leakage phenomenon or glossiness. CONSTITUTION: In a biaxially oriented polyester film for a release film, an orientation angle range in 2m interval in a width direction of a film is within 3°, a birefringence ratio is 0.05 or greater, and a thermal shrinkage ratios of a width direction and longitudinal direction are respectively within 5% in a drying condition of 150 °C and 30 minutes, and a haze is within 6%.
