PURPOSE: A radioactive waste storage drum is provided to increase the amount of radioactive wastes stored by minimizing pores between radioactive wastes by removing the air present in the pores using a suction unit. CONSTITUTION: A cylindrical body(11) stores various radioactive wastes thereinside. A lower plate(12) is attached to the location separated from the bottom of the body to the upper part. An upper plate(13) has an insertion hole(13') in the center thereof. An injection nozzle(14) is attached to the upper plate in order to be connected to the insertion hole. A suction unit(20) pulls out the air inside the body.
