The method involves passing a rope (1) by a device (2) i.e. inspection device, having three wheels (3), which are connected with the rope in a form-fit manner. One of the wheels is propelled by a motor such that the device is movable at the rope. The motor is controlled such that the device repeatedly starts at the rope at predetermined positions. Fluid is temporarily applied in portions on the rope by spraying and mixing of components on a rope surface with short temporal distance in a blender (4) i.e. passage-pipe blender, brushing and rolling. An independent claim is also included for a device for applying fluid on a rope. |
