PURPOSE: A method for inspecting cracks on the blades of a rotor of a turbo machine is provided to simply and efficiently inspect cracks on the blades of a rotor which is not washed. CONSTITUTION: A method for testing cracks on the blades of a rotor of a turbo machine is as follows. A rotor(10) with blades(12) assembled in a rotor body(11) is prepared. The assembled state of the blades is maintained to inspect cracks. Frequency spectrums formed in each blade are recorded. An average value is calculated from the recorded frequency spectrums. The recorded frequency spectrum is compared with the average value. When the recorded frequency spectrum is not within the average value, it is estimated that the blades have the possibility of cracks.
