PURPOSE: A thermal conductor and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to reduce manufacturing costs and facilitate molding using main material including new silicon carbide and regenerated silicon carbide or zirconia. CONSTITUTION: A thermal conductor comprises a main material of thermal conductor, mixture of aluminium oxide and metallic silicon, calcium carbonate, and kaolin. The main material of thermal conductor contains new wood silicon carbide and regenerated silicon carbide. The main material of thermal conductors can additionally contain zirconia. The main material of the thermal conductor is 60~80 weight%. The mixture of the aluminium oxide and metallic silicon is 1~20 weight%. The calcium carbonate is 1~20 weight%. The kaolin is 1~20 weight%.
