PURPOSE: A secondary battery is provided to facilitate electrode tabs in a desired width since the total width of the electrode tabs formed by overlapping a plurality of unit tabs is wider than those of unit tabs and to prevent the deformation of an electrode assembly. CONSTITUTION: A secondary battery comprises an electrode assembly(120) equipped with a first electrode plate(121), a second electrode plate(122), and a separator(123) interposed between two electrode plates. The electrode assembly includes a first electrode tab(127) in which a plurality of first unit tabs are laminated and protrudes from the first electrode plate and a second electrode tab(128) in which a plurality of second unit tabs are laminated and protrudes from the second electrode plate. The width of the first electrode tab is wider than that of unit tab. |
