The training system for wheelchair users includes mechanical and electronic subsystems compatible with any wheelchair, which is useful as interface or control method for people being trained in the wheelchair use whereas are entertained with a videogame. The inventive system comprises a subsystem for assembling any wheelchair, a tilting and friction simulation subsystem, a dampening subsystem for simulating an irregular ground and an electronic control subsystem for processing the motion signals of the rear wheels and sending said signals to any computer system or videogame console. Said system, as a whole, provides a virtual entertainment for wheelchair people in a controlled and safe environment with the interaction of a virtual system or videogame. The inventive system allows people to be trained in the use of a wheelchair while entertaining and developing muscular mass in the upper limbs. The system may be coupled to any input peripheral device of a computer system or videogame co nsole.
