PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive load driving device with a fail safe function, which allows to drive the other load at least even if one load cannot be driven when two loads are activated as one set. SOLUTION: A basic drive circuit 20 activating two head lamps 1, 2 and a sub-circuit 30 functioning as a fail safe circuit are provided to the load driving device 10. Also, when an abnormal condition occurs in a control circuit 23 and MOSFETs 26, 27 provided in the basic drive circuit 20 and both of the respective head lamps 1, 2 cannot be lighted, a failure signal is output from a failure detection circuit 40 to the sub-circuit 30. Further, a third MOSFET 34 is driven based on the input of the failure signal, the sub-circuit 30 lights the head lamp 2 on the driver's seat side. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
