<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that applies brilliance to a desired position even if a recording sheet is shrunk after it is fixed. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus 100 includes: a fixing unit 16 that heats a toner image on the recording sheet transferred from an intermediate transfer belt 8; and a thermal head 201 that applies brilliance to any region of the recording paper heated by the fixing unit 16. A CPU 502 calculates shrinkage ratio of the recording sheet shrunk by heat of the fixing unit 16 and corrects the brilliance-applied region by the thermal head 201 according to the shrinkage ratio. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
