SEMI-ACTIVE TYPE OUTRIGGER DAMPING APPARATUS

PURPOSE: A semi-active type outrigger damper system is provided to enable the effective control of the horizontal displacement of an outrigger damper on external dynamic load. CONSTITUTION: A semi-active type outrigger damper system comprises a pressure sensor(110), a displacement sensor(120), an electronic control valve(130), and a controller(140). The pressure sensor is installed on a hydraulic cylinder(30) inside a supply pipe(33) and measure the pressure inside each supply pipe. The displacement sensor is installed in an outer column(20) and an outrigger(1) and measures the displacement. The electronic control valve is turned on and off according to the control of the controller and is installed at the central portion of the supply pipe. The controller turns on and off the electronic control valve based on pressure value and displacement value measured from the pressure sensor and the displacement sensor.
