PURPOSE: A method for providing a GUI(Graphic User Interface) and a digital device using the same are provided to easily and variably control devices in a remote place. CONSTITUTION: A display unit(220) indicates a GUI including a GUI item. A controller(230) creates a GUI including a first to a third items and displays the items on the display unit. A first item shows a first device for transmitting a content. A second item shows a second device for transmitting the content. A third item shows the content to be transmitted to the second device. The control unit changes the size of the first to third items and displays the items.
