EXHAUST EMISSION CONTROL DEVICE FOR ENGINE

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust emission control device for an engine capable of reducing pressure loss when exhaust gas within an upstream side casing is guided to inside through each hole of a connection pipe and, therefore, of preventing deterioration of fuel economy caused by increase in pressure loss.

SOLUTION: An inner diameter of each hole 22a of the connection pipe 22 inserted to inside of the upstream side casing 17 is continuously expanded from the upstream side toward the downstream side in the exhaust gas flowing direction within the casing 17. Bent pieces 28 having an arcuate cross section and following the downstream side outer peripheral face of the connection pipe 22 are arranged in the most downstream portion within the upstream side casing 17. A gap between the hole 22a on the upstream side outer peripheral face and the hole 22a on the downstream side outer peripheral face related to introduction of exhaust gas is reduced.
