PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crusher which is easy to manufacture and can crush branches, leaves and twigs of trees and plants effectively. SOLUTION: The crusher includes crushing rotors rotatably held, a number of rotary blades fixed to the peripheral surface of the crushing rotors, fixed blades crushing an object to be crushed in cooperation with the rotary blades and a screen which has sieving holes allowing crushed pieces crushed to a predetermined size or smaller to pass through and forms a shredding space extending along the lower peripheral surface of the crushing rotors. The screen has a flat plate having a large number of long holes arranged side by side in the direction of the rotation axial line of the rotary blades extending in the rotational transfer direction of the rotary blades and lateral ribs fixed to the flat plate and dividing the long holes into sieving holes. The lateral ribs includes a base board extending over two or more of the long holes in the width direction outside the shredding space of the flat plate, a holding portion fitted in the long holes and extending into the shredding space and false-fixed-blades arranged in the holding portion and having an engaging part operating in cooperation with the rotary blades.
