PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a stationary pendant to produce a sound by being swung or vertically moved. SOLUTION: In the pendant with the sound producing function, the pendant is as a whole composed of two hard materials that are separably in close contact with and opposite to each other in the longitudinal direction. One surface in the longitudinal direction of the hard material is formed into a nearly smooth surface, one end thereof is used as an upper end having a small hole 2 to put a thin string 1 through and weight increases toward a lower end. A recessed part 3 is provided primarily toward the lower end of the smooth surface, and an annular part formed in the periphery of the recessed part is made into one body 5 as a hitting face part 4. The other surface in the longitudinal direction is made into the other body 6 having shape nearly the same as the one surface in the longitudinal direction as a whole and having the small hole 2, the recessed part 3, and the hitting face part 4 in the relative position. Both hitting face parts 4 of the one body 5 and the other body 6 are opposed to each other, and loosely tied near the small holes 2 with a thin string 1. Then, the string is hang and the whole is swung or vertically moved. When the lower end comes into contact with the other body, and both hitting face parts 4 separated and returned to the original position, the collision between the hitting face parts 4 generates the syllabic nasal.
