<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the operational burden of a driver when unlocking; and prevent battery power waste. <P>SOLUTION: A lock system for straddle-riding type vehicle includes a portable terminal 10 carried by the driver; a control device 39 which is installed in the straddle-riding type vehicle, and performs identification by performing radio communication with the portable terminal 10; lock devices 12-15 installed in the straddle-riding type vehicle, whose movements are controlled by the control device 39; an ignition switch 6 performing switching between an on-state allowing a power source to be supplied to a plurality of electrical components 4 and 5 mounted on the straddle-riding type vehicle, and an off-state not allowing the power source to be supplied to the plurality of electrical components 4 and 5; and a wake-up switch 16 for inputting a wake-up signal to start the radio communication for the identification to the control device 39 according to the operation of the driver. The control device 39 unlocks the lock devices 12-15 when the wake-up signal is input and the identification is established during the off-state of the ignition switch 6. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
