PURPOSE: A method and apparatus for managing membership information are provided to enable a customer to receive a substantial discount benefit by applying a coupon or points when performing a settlement. CONSTITUTION: A membership information issuing unit(210) transmits the membership information to a terminal. A payment information receiver(220) receives information about the payment request signal or the authentication request signal about the membership information from the terminal. A membership approving unit(230) checks whether the membership information is approved or not by the approval request signal. If the membership information is approved, a payment processor(240) reflects the membership information to the payment request signal and creates the payment completion information. |
