摘要 The present invention consists of an electronic device for determining the origin direction of partial discharges and the magnitude thereof by measuring the magnetic and electric fields. The invention also includes a magnetic field sensor and an electric field sensor of the capacitive type, which are interconnected with amplifiers of high and low frequency, the outlet of the inventive device providing a digital signal for indicating the location of the source of the dominant partial discharges, as well as the magnitude of the apparent load thereof. The information provided by said device is of particular importance in the diagnostic of the power electric equipment since it determines if the source of the partial discharges is inside or outside the assessed electric equipment and eventually determines the location of the part or device that is damaged.
