PURPOSE: A system and a method for detecting a position of a sample are provided to rapidly trace the location of the sample using an active RFID. CONSTITUTION: An RFID(Radio Frequency Identification System) tag(400) is attached to a sample. The electronic tag reader periodically collects the location information of the sample. A sample management server(100) grasps the location information of the electronic tag and the location information of the sample. The sample management server registers the location of the sample to a database part.
