PURPOSE: A display driver, a method for operating the same, a display device including the same are provided to overcome afterimage-related problems by outputting blanking data on a display panel for a pre-set frame. CONSTITUTION: A display system(10) is composed of mobile communication devices or display devices including a display panel. A host outputs a plurality of controlling singles and/or commands in order to control the operation of a display driver(30). The display driver includes a timing controller(40), a source driver(47), a gate driver(49), and a power supplying block(51). The timing controller includes a reset controlling circuit(31), a reset signal generating circuit(33), a finite state machine(35), a first controlling logic(39), a display controlling register(41), a second controlling logic(43), and a power controlling register(45).
