<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve accuracy and stability of fuel property detection while employing a method for detecting fuel property in a pipe path. <P>SOLUTION: In a construction machine such as a hydraulic excavator, a box-shaped sub tank 7 is installed in the fuel pipe path for connecting a fuel tank 4 to an engine 3. The sub tank 7 is formed with a fuel inlet 7a and a fuel outlet 7b which are respectively provided in a lower portion and an upper portion in approximately the same positions in the peripheral direction of a vertical peripheral side surface, and also provided with a sensor 8 on a bottom. The fuel property is detected by the sensor 8 while reducing fuel flow speed in the sub tank 7 and stabilizing a flow rate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
