PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a content to be severed by the use of a kitchen knife without opening side plates in advance, with respect to a tray-like container made of paper employed for sale or the like of various foods and so forth stored therein. SOLUTION: A long-side side plate 13 and a short-side side plate 15 are so arranged as to be connected with the use of connecting strips 22 made foldable by severing lines 23 respectively at both the end sides of the short-side side plates 15, so that if contents such as meat 30 or the like are intended to be severed with a kitchen knife 31 as they are kept stored in the tray, the connecting strips 22 are turned severed at the cutting lines 23 at their root sides, which turns a bottom plate 11 and at least long-side side plates 13 on both the sides flattened, allowing the contents such as meat 30 or the like to be cooked with the tray-like container as a cutting board for use.
