PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rising and falling car stop having a simple structure and being efficiently manufacturable. SOLUTION: This car stop includes a case body 1 buried into the ground and having a horizontally long box shape having an opened upper part, a column body 2 stored in the case body 1 to rise and fall freely and made of an elastic body, a shaft body 3 supporting a terminal part 21 of the column body 2 to rise and fall freely, a lid 4 covering a surface of the case body 1 while the column body 2 falls down, and a support body 5 in which a lower part of the column body 2 is inserted to support the column body 2 while the column body 2 rises.
