PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flame detector for inexpensively improving the workability, and surely detecting flames without malfunctions. SOLUTION: The flame detector includes: a collection lens 16 for condensing ultraviolet rays and infrared rays generated from the burner flame in a boiler facility; a functional fluorescent glass 13a for converting the ultraviolet rays collected by the collection lens 16 into a visible light, and transmitting the collected infrared rays; a half mirror 17 for two branching the visible light converted by the functional fluorescent glass 13a and the infrared rays; a first photoelectric conversion element 18a for converting the visible light subjected to dual-partitioning by the half mirror 17 into a first electrical signal; and a second photoelectric conversion element 18b for converting the infrared rays subjected to dual-partitioning by the half mirror 17 into a second electrical signal.
