PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an arrangement station for a machine tool having a sufficient approaching property to a pallet retained on a pallet support supported rotatably around a rotation axis extending in a horizontal direction and indexing-positioned so as to become horizontal, and safely performing arrangement work. SOLUTION: The arrangement station 11 for the machine tool includes the pallet support 29 supported rotatably around the rotation axis 35 extending in the horizontal direction and having a pallet mounting surface 39 for retaining the pallet P, and the pallet mounting surface 39 can be indexed around the rotation axis 35. A step plate 49 extending in the horizontal direction when the pallet mounting surface 39 is indexing-positioned so as to become horizontal, is mounted to a side surface 37 of the pallet support 29 other than the pallet mounting surface 39, and a worker performs the arrangement work of the pallet P retained to the pallet mounting surface 39 on the step plate 49 extending in the horizontal direction.
