PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheel capable of suppressing the temperature rise of a tire, and a tire wheel assembly. SOLUTION: The wheel 20 includes a disc 22, and a rim 24. The rim 24 includes a well 34, an outside bead sheet 36, and an inside bead sheet 38. On a surface of the wheel 20, a projecting portion p1 is provided. In stead of the projecting portion p1, a recessed portion may be provided. The projecting portion p1 and the recessed portion may be provided. Preferably, the projecting portion and/or the recessed portion are provided on a surface of the rim. Preferably, the projecting portion and/or the recessed portion are provided on a surface of the well 34. Preferably, the projecting portion and/or the recessed portion are provided on an outer peripheral surface of the well 34. In a preferable wheel 20, while a tire 50 is mounted, the projecting portion and/or the recessed portion are provided at a position contacting with air in an air chamber A1 formed by the tire 50 and the rim 24.
