The present invention relates to an apparatus for indicating the connection of a call for a mobile communication terminal, for indicating a call-connected state to a user by means of visual, audio, haptic and/or other effects. With the apparatus for indicating the connection of a call for a mobile communication terminal of the present invention, immediately after a call button is pressed on a mobile communication terminal, the mobile communication terminal recognizes when the call has been connected on the basis of the highest level of electromagnetic emissions occurring at the time of the connection of the call, and alerts the user of the recognized results using visual, audio, haptic, and/or other effects. Thus, a user is able to check the call connection state of a portable phone terminal when placing a call or during call-waiting without having to draw the portable phone terminal close to his/her face. Therefore, the user can remain distant from the hazards of electromagnetic radiation before a call is connected and talk with the other party once the connection of the call is confirmed. Further, the inconvenience of having to wait with the phone needlessly pressed against the ear during call-waiting can be alleviated. |
