PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a lightweight and highly rigid swing arms, after further reducing the number of parts of the swing arms and the number of manufacturing steps, in a swing arm structure of a saddle riding type vehicle. SOLUTION: The right and left arms 16 with closed hollow cross-sections extend in the fore-and-aft direction. Openings 23 each opening forward with the same size as the maximum cross-section of each of the arms 16 are provided on the respective front sides of right and left arms 16.
