<p>Disclosed is a display panel substrate comprising a spacer that allows adjustment of the height of the spacer without affecting color characteristics of coloring patterns. The display pane substrate comprises coloring patterns (13r, 13g, 13b) of a prescribed plurality of colors for use in a color display, the coloring patterns (13r, 13g, 13b) further comprising photosensitive materials; and a spacer (2) further comprising a first subspacer (21), an aperture portion being formed in the central portion of the planar direction thereof, and a second subspacer (22), a portion whereof overlaps upon the first subspacer and another portion whereof is fitted upon the aperture portion that is formed upon the first subspacer; wherein the first subspacer (21) is formed from the same material as that of one color of the coloring patterns (13r, 13g, 13b) from among the plurality of coloring patterns (13r, 13g, 13b), and the second subspacer (22) is formed from the same material as that of a different color of the coloring patterns (13r, 13g, 13b) from that of the first subspacer (21).</p> |
