PURPOSE: A valve lift device is provided to ensure a strong support structure of a pipe journal and a cam shaft because the cam shaft is inserted in the pipe journal and the pip journal is supported by a cylinder head. CONSTITUTION: A valve lift device comprises a cam shaft(110) formed with a cam on the outer side thereof, a rocker-arm shaft(142) which is arranged in parallel to the cam shaft, a rocker arm(140) which is installed on the rocker-arm shaft and allowed to rotate, a pipe journal(200) in which the cam shaft is inserted and rotated, a cylinder head(205) which supports a side of the pipe journal, output cams(155) which are protruded at a set interval on the exterior of the pipe journal and rotated by the rocker arm around the rocker arm shaft along with the pipe journal, and a driving part which rotates the rock-arm shaft around an eccentric shaft to change the position of the rocker arm, thereby continuously changing the timing and range of motion of a valve(100) moved by the output cams. |
