<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a light-emitting apparatus for allowing light-emitting-operation of a light-emitting element, with appropriate luminance gradation corresponding to image data; a drive control method thereof; and electronic device applying the light-emitting apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: In luminance compensation data-obtaining operation, in a data driver 140, a current value of a current Imeas flowing in an organic EL element OEL provided at a pixel PIX is measured by an ammeter 146c by applying voltage Vmeas for measuring to a data line Ld and by conducting a transistor Tr12 provided between the data line Ld and a contact N12, and it is stored in a memory 148 as luminance compensation data.
