PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an audio playback system and method. SOLUTION: The audio playback system is mainly built with an audio player, a converter, and a car audio device incorporating a frequency modulation receiver. The audio player includes a storage unit capable of storing a number of audio files, and a processor unit to generate frequency conversion signals of the channel frequency based on the channel frequency for the frequency modulation in the frequency modulation receiver. The converter generates specific frequency modulated signals based on the audio files in the audio player and the conversion signals for the channel frequency.
