摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell module in which heat transfer from an exhaust gas flowing through an exhaust gas discharge passage to an oxygen-containing gas flowing through an oxygen-containing gas supply passage can be prevented. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell module having a plurality of fuel battery cells in which the fuel gas and the oxygen-containing gas for power generation are electrochemically reacted to generate electric power includes: a combustion chamber in which the fuel gas not consumed for power generation in the fuel battery cells is combusted in the upper part of the fuel battery cells; a heat exchanger arranged in the vicinity of the combustion part and in which heat is exchanged by the exhaust gas generated in the combustion part with the oxygen-containing gas; an oxygen-containing gas supply passage in order to supply the oxygen-containing gas after passing through of the heat exchanger to the fuel battery cell; and a combustion gas exhaust passage to exhaust the combustion gas after passing through the heat exchanger.
