<p>The present invention proposes a method and apparatus for antenna self-calibration in a Base Station (BS) of a Time Division Duplex (TDD) system based on CoMP technology. Firstly, computing the relative reciprocityof each pair of BS transceiver of the present BS relative to a calibration transceiver, and selecting a pair of BS transceiver as a reference BS transceiver to compute the relative reciprocityof each pair of BS transceiver of the present BS relative to the reference BS transceiver, wherein, i = 1, 2, ..., N; secondly, transmitting a measurement signal to a calibration receiver through a calibration transmitter of the present BS, and measuring the channel responseof the calibration transceiver of the present BS, wherein,, k = 1, 2, ..., M; then, measuring the channel responseof the calibration receiver of the present BS; next, computing the absolute reciprocityof the calibration transceiver of the present BS through the formula; and lastly, according to an obtained global reference value, computing the global relative calibration weightof each pair of BS transceiver of the present BS through the formula. The technical solution of the present invention enables the antenna calibration of a TDD wireless communication system based on CoMP technology.</p> |
