PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel solvent absorber capable of improving productivity of products by shortening a cycle time of printing since there is no need of frequently performing exchange or solvent removal compared with a conventional absorber. SOLUTION: The solvent absorber is configured so that an absorbing layer for absorbing and removing a solvent impregnated in a silicone blanket while coming in contact with the surface of a silicone blanket is provided on a base material, wherein the absorbing layer has a laminated structure of two or more layers including a surface layer that constitutes the surface coming in contact with the silicone blanket surface and a layer (lower layer) that is arranged on the base material side from the surface layer and that has a higher swelling rate of the solvent than that of the surface layer.
