NON-FLAMMABLE COATING COMPOSITE FOR EXPANDED POLYSTYRENE

PURPOSE: A flame-retardant coating composition for expandable styrene foam is provided to ensure excellent fire retardant characteristics in fire when coated on the surface of styrene foam granules, to minimize the generation of poisonous gas, and to impart excellent adhesive property. CONSTITUTION: A flame-retardant coating composition for expandable styrene foam includes; based on the total weight of the flame-retardant coating composition; 15~45 weight% of a first solution including a polymer-soluble urethane-based vanish and styrene foam; 20~50 weight% of at least one selected from alkali silicate solution, sodium alginate, and sodium caseinate, alkyl benzene sulfonate-based surfactant and acrylic vinyl versatate acrylic emulsion; 20~50 weight% of calcium carbonate powder; 5~15 weight% of silicate-based mineral; 8~20 weight% of clay reinforcing material; and 2~5 weight% of hydroxide.
