FIELD: medicine. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medical equipment, namely an orthopedic magnetic resonance tomograph. The tomograph accommodates a gradient coil supply unit, a high-frequency transmitter, an operating computer, a spectrometre, a low-noise amplifier, transmitter and receiver radio-frequency coils. Outputs of the spectrometre are connected to inputs of the gradient coil supplies and an input of the high-frequency transmitter, and an input - with an output of the low-noise amplifier which input is connected to an output of the receiver radio-frequency coil. An input of the transmitter radio-frequency coil is connected to an output of the high-frequency transmitter. Besides, the spectrometre is presented in the form of a signalling processor board, a digital-to-analogue gradient converter board and a radio-frequency board integrated in a system unit of the operating computer. A driving point of the high-frequency transmitter is connected to a digital output of the signalling processor board. The receiver portion of the radio-frequency portion comprises a quartz oscillator, an analogue-to-digital converter. The transmitter portion of the radio-frequency board comprises a digital synthesizer, a modulator and a mixer with its second input connected to the quartz oscillator and an output - with the input of the high-frequency transmitter. The transmitter and receiver radio-frequency coils are integrated in the same transmitter-receiver coil provided with a transmit/receive and receive/transmit switching circuit. ^ EFFECT: use of the invention improves the MRT performance and enhances the tomograph. ^ 2 cl, 2 dwg |
