FIELD: electricity. ^ SUBSTANCE: method involves the following stages: electrical quantity is converted with digital filter of orthogonal constituents to readings of the first and the second signals; each pair of neighbouring readings of the first and the second signals is converted to the third and fourth signals; the fourth signal is shaped as doubled sum of products of the like signals of the number of four above readings; the third and the fourth signals are supplied to actuating relay; beginning and end of homogeneity interval of electrical quantity is judged by actuation and return of actuating relay; the third signal is shaped by subtracting the fourth signal from sum of squares of pre-summed neighbouring pairs of readings of the first and the second signals. ^ EFFECT: simplifying the method for determining homogeneity intervals of electrical quantity. ^ 1 dwg
