PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous secondary battery superior in productivity, and to provide a manufacturing method of the nonaqueous secondary battery. SOLUTION: The nonaqueous secondary battery has a wound electrode body, and a separator has a multilayered structure having a porous layer (A) having a thermoplastic resin of a melting point of 80 to 170°C as the body and the porous layer (B) higher in heat resistance than the porous layer (A). In either of an electrode of a positive electrode or a negative electrode, two sheets of the separator are arranged on both faces, the two sheets of the separator are directly opposed to each other at the inner end and its vicinity and at the outer end and its vicinity. At least the inner end of the two sheets of the separator is joined by an joining part having a layer in which a constituting component of the porous layer (A) and the constituting component of the porous layer (B) exist in mixed state.
