<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile terminal transmission power measuring apparatus, capable of efficiently measuring transmission power in various operational states of a mobile terminal to be used for a cellular phone system, wherein communication is performed between the mobile terminal and a base station and the transmission power is controlled, based on a command from the base station. <P>SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a transmission power measuring apparatus for measuring transmission power on a mobile, comprising: an external antenna connected to a mobile terminal via a feeder; a head phantom provided within a distance of one wavelength of its communication radio waves and interlocked with movement of the external antenna; a branching unit provided in the middle of the feeder for branching a part of a transmission signal; a power-measuring instrument for measuring the intensity of radio waves branched by the branching unit; and a recording unit for recording the measurement of the power-measuring instrument. The transmission power measuring apparatus is configured to measure the transmission signal intensity, while moving. The directions of the external antenna and the phantom are freely controllable.
