PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color reaction measuring machine and a method of measuring color reaction which can measure a plurality of measurement objects without exchanging light sources and sensor chips. SOLUTION: The color reaction measuring machine 10 includes the sensor chip 1, where a light waveguide layer 3 including an incidence side grating 4a to which light enters and an emission side grating 4b from which the incidence light is emitted is provided on a main surface of a substrate 2. In the color reaction measuring machine 10, when the pitch width of the incidence side grating 4a is set to D, the incidence side grating 4a is formed at a spacing where the following formula, Nsinα=sinθ+λ/D, is true, and light entering the incidence side grating 4a includes a plurality of wavelengths, where N is a refractive index of the light waveguide layer,αis an angle where light is propagated within the light waveguide layer,θis an incidence angle of light entering one of the pair of gratings, andλis a wavelength of light emitted from the light source.
