VECTOR VACCINE AGAINST INFLUENZA VIRUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vector vaccine exhibiting high levels of vaccine effects against wide variety of influenza viruses. SOLUTION: The vector vaccine against influenza viruses is obtained by incorporating either one of (1) a gene encoding a polypeptide derived from nucleoprotein (NP) and matrix protein (M) of influenza viruses or antigenic epitopes thereof and (2) a gene encoding polypeptide derived from hemagglutinin (HA), matrix protein (M) and nucleoprotein (NP) of influenza viruses or antigenic epitopes thereof into an Ad5/35 adenovirus vector so as to be expressible in which a gene encoding a fiber protein of E1-deleted non-proliferating adenovirus type 5 is substituted by a gene encoding a fiber protein of an adenovirus type 35 so as to be expressible.
