PURPOSE: A guided ultrasonic wave focusing method used for a pipe inspection device is provided to improve the reliability of an inspection using guided ultrasonic wave by focusing ultrasonic wave on a specific point in a pipe. CONSTITUTION: A guided ultrasonic wave focusing method used for a pipe inspection device is as follows. Guided ultrasonic wave is transmitted from a probe into a pipe without input of time delay. The guided ultrasonic wave, which has passed through the pipe, is received in the probe. A time delay is calculated using cross-correlation of the signal received in an operation unit. The calculated time delay is inputted so that guided ultrasonic wave is transmitted from the probe into the pipe. The guided ultrasonic wave, which has passed through the pipe, is received in the probe. A time delay is calculated using cross-correlation of the signal received in the operation unit. |
