PURPOSE: A bar coating head and a bar coating apparatus using the same are provided to implement a thin layer coating process regardless of broad width and protecting the surface of a bar from being damaged due to foreign materials. CONSTITUTION: A coating bar(403) applies coating liquid(411) to a web. A back-up unit is installed at a base and supports the bar. A liquid supplying side coater block and a liquid discharging side coater block are installed at the upstream side and the downstream side base of the back-up unit.
