摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the combustion efficiency of an internal combustion engine, and to enhance the fuel efficiency by providing a fuel injection device in which the average particle size of atomized fuel in the internal combustion engine such as a gasoline engine is about 30 micron, and the maximum particle size thereof is about 150 micron. SOLUTION: A fuel injection device includes a fuel injector 1 having coaxial ejectors 2 constituting an air-liquid coaxial parallel flow and a high-temperature air system 3 for fuel atomization. The fuel injector ejects high-temperature air 4a for atomization at high speed from the coaxial ejectors 2, each constituted of a high-temperature air ejector 4 for atomization and a fuel ejector 5 arranged so as to surround fuel jet 5a, and atomizes the fuel by the shearing force generated in the interface between the fuel and the high-temperature air flow. In the high-temperature air system, a part of engine intake air 6a is branched, and the air flow rate branched by a throttle orifice 7 is set. Thereafter, the air is heated to the predetermined temperature by a heat exchanger 8 provided inside or outside the combustion gas exhaust pipe, and the high-temperature air is fed to the fuel injector via the engine intake stroke.
