<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connecting fitting preventing an incomplete connection between joint sections and a "galling phenomenon" between the joint section and a liner section, in the connecting fitting constituted from a pair of connecting fitting bodies with an identical structure without distinction between male and female. <P>SOLUTION: One or both of the connecting fitting bodies include: the liner section provided with a seal surface and an attachment to a hose or a pipe element; the joint section having a plurality of fitting projections and fitting recesses, and rotatably fit onto the outside of the liner section. Letting J denote the minimum inner diameter of the contact surface portion on the joint section which comes into contact in the axial direction to regulate the liner section which has fit into the joint section, L the maximum diameter of the liner section, and G the outer diameter of the liner section, the relations between these values and the axial length l of the portion on the liner section with the outer diameter G are L>J and l<√(N<SP>2</SP>-G<SP>2</SP>). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
