<p>The invention relates to a vulcanizing press comprising two plates (3, 5) capable of assuming a proximal position in which said plates (3, 5) close a mold (11) in order to give a predetermined shape to a tire, and a distal position in which the mold is opened, at least one bore (27) formed in one of said plates (3, 5) of said supporting plate, the diameter of said bore being predetermined so as to allow a spindle (25) head (29) to pass through. The vulcanizing press (1) further includes a locking/unlocking device (33) comprising a first abutment (35a) movable between a rest position and an operative position in which said abutment is inserted between the head (29) of the spindle (25) and the supporting plate (3, 5) in order to hold said spindle (25) inside the bore (27), the tail (31) of said spindle (25) being attached to the mold.</p> |
