PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for producing liquid fuel from natural gas, which are inexpensive and preferable in yield, also suitable to a small-scale plant. SOLUTION: The method for producing liquid fuel from natural gas includes: using lower aliphatic saturated hydrocarbons separated from natural gas as raw materials; heating them at a predetermined temperature in the presence of a predetermined catalyst, and simultaneously irradiating them with predetermined electromagnetic waves to activate them and form radicals; bonding the obtained radicals in the presence of a predetermined catalyst to generate aliphatic saturated hydrocarbons with longer chain than the raw material lower aliphatic saturated hydrocarbons; and as needed, further atomizing the chain-lengthened aliphatic saturated hydrocarbons and reacting them with radicals generated from the raw material lower aliphatic saturated hydrocarbons to produce further longer chain aliphatic saturated hydrocarbons.
