摘要 The invention relates to a device for controlling a low beam (L) of a vehicle (1), comprising at least one headlight (1.1, 1.2) having at least one light source, means for pivoting a generated light distribution (L1, L2), and at least one optical element (1.1.1, 1.2.1), by means of which a beam path of the light distribution (L1, L2) can be adjusted, wherein the optical element (1.1.1, 1.2.1) has a light passage opening (LO) and can be pivoted into an optical axis (oA) of the light source if a hazardous situation is detected, wherein a beam of the light distribution (L1, L2) is bounded and/or deflected in such a way that a bounded light area (A) having an outer shape of the light passage opening (LO) can be produced in a predeterminable area in front of the vehicle (1). According to the invention, the optical element (1.1.1, 1.2.1) has further light passage structures, which are arranged such that, starting from the light passage opening (LO), a "high beam" (LF) light pattern or a "partial high beam" (LT) light pattern and thereafter the "high beam" (LF) light pattern can be produced by means of at least one of the further light passage structures by rotating, pivoting, and/or sliding the optical element (1.1.1, 1.2.1) in a direction and a "highway" (LA) light pattern and thereafter a "secondary road" (LL) light pattern can be produced by means of at least one of the further light passage structures by rotating, pivoting, and/or sliding the optical element (1.1.1, 1.2.1) in an opposite direction.
