Medical implant, in particular stent

The medical support implant has a tube like base body which is made up of two flexible bars (2). The two bars are located at nodal points (4) at an acute angle (W) which is enlarged by dilating the implant by plastic deformation of the bars at the nodal points. A part of the bar is provided with a telescopic ratchet mechanism (R) between the plastic deformation areas for irreversible extension of the bar when expanding.
